Qing ming festival

Qing Ming is a long-standing Chinese tradition wherein filial piety is expressed through offering prayers to ancestors and our departed loved ones. Shakyamuni Buddha has always emphasised the interconnectedness of all beings who have either been our father or mother for countless eons. Hence, let us extend love and compassion to those karmically linked to us during this season of remembrance.

Throughout our Qing Ming Festival event, our resident Sanghas will conduct prayers and offerings for 12 consecutive days, dedicating merits to the dearly departed to transcend samsara and swiftly transmigrate to Amitabha’s Pure Land. We welcome all to join us in amassing collective merits and dedicating these merits extensively to benefit sentient beings in the ten directions.
